We are happy to be having a Centered Riding Update Clinic for Centered Riding Instructors here at the Farm October 19,20,21, and 22. Karen Irland, Level IV Centered Riding Insructor will be the clinian teaching us. The days are divided with all participating instructors doing groundwork, a little bodywork, having a riding lesson, exploring teaching techniques and teaching our wonderful student riders! We will be reviewing all of the important concepts of Sally Swift that make up the core of Centered Riding and coming away with more tools in our teaching toolbox!

All Levels of Centered Riding Instructors are invited to be part of this Update. You may find out more information by getting in touch using the email of the Farm, fromthemotherfarm@gmail.com  and we will get that to you.

We are still looking for Student Riders to help us improve our teaching and communication skills. If you would like to be part of our student group, we would love to have you! To find out more information on this please use the Farm email,  fromthemotherfarm@gamil.com  and we will let you know the details!

Now, we hope for great weather, we know it will be a great time!

The Centered Riding Update Clinic was a resounding success and I thank all the Instructors that came to Update, the awesome student riders that allowed themselves to be guinea pigs for us and especially our clinician Karen Irland who brought us all together and made it a safe learning space. Mary and Alan Shank had the house ready and were willing to share their warmth and hospitality with everyone. Although the weather lefts us wanting something better for most of the days it did not dampen our enthusiasm. We shared, helped and supported each other, filled our tool boxes up with new and exciting ways to teach and refreshed all those great basics. Every Instructor brought new insights with the way they present things which also helps to expand our teaching vocabulary. Thank you to all who made this a great time of fun and learning!
